The WL2836E series are high precision, low noise, high speed, high PSRR, and low dropout CMOS linear regulators with high ripple rejection. These devices provide a new level of cost-effective performance for cell phones, laptops, notebooks, and other portable devices. The wL2836E has a foldback maximum output current that depends on the output voltage. Therefore, the current limit acts as a short-circuit protection and an output current limiter. The wL2836E voltage regulator is housed in a standard SoT-23-5L package, which is lead-free and halogen-free.
